Receptionist job description

We are looking for an experienced receptionist/ administrator to join our busy and friendly reception team. The ideal candidate would have excellent customer service skills and experience of working in a GP practice. Computer skills are essential, preferably with knowledge of SystmOne. Hours of work would be 25-30 hours , Monday to Friday. It is essential however that the post-holder be flexible to work other shifts when required to cover annual and sickness leave. The post would be principally reception work but would also involve some other administrative duties. The post requires as a minimum, the following skills: Excellent communicator, Caring and Friendly, Able to cope with sensitive information confidentially, Keyboard skills/computer skills essential (preferably in SystmOne), Proven record of good standard of education, Experience within a Primary Care or NHS setting is preferable but not essential


Practice Manager Job description and specification

The Olive Family Practice is looking to recruit an additional Practice Manager to support our growing list size. The position will be a job share with the existing manager and is available as a part-time or a full-time position.

The Olive Family Practice has over 4000 patients and is based in a purpose built NHS building. The practice is a high achiever in both QOF and the Bolton Quality contract, with an overall "Outstanding" rating for CQC in July 2016.

Experience of managing an organisation within the NHS preferable Primary care would be useful but not essential. The right candidate would have experience in HR, managing staff and have strong interpersonal skills to interact with both patients and other agencies as required by the role.

The Practice team consists of:

Lead GP/ Managing Director; Salaried GP; Advance Clinical Practitioner; Independent Prescribing Pharmacist.

MSK Practitioner, Mental Health Practitioner, Clinical Practice based pharmacist.

Practice Nurse; Health Care Assistant.

Practice Manager; 7 Receptionists/administrators, Medical Secretary
